Halloween

This year we spent Halloween at our friends the Rodriguez's house. They came our way last year and asked us to go trick or treating with them at their house. George and Lisa have become some of our dearest friends. We met them at the kids school. George was Kayley's 5th grade teacher. His son Alex is in Jacob's class and his older son George played on Jacob's baseball team this past spring. George Sr. cooked us a fantastic dinner of chicken enchiladas (probably the best i've ever had), beans and rice. He also made his famous salsa. It's my favorite right next to his guacamole. After dinner Lisa, the boys, Sandy (their dog) and I took the boys trick or treating while Eddie and George handed out candy and enjoyed the kegerator and the fire pit. The boys raked in a bunch of candy and had a great time. Grant was a clone trooper this year and Jacob Obe wan kanobe (I know I spelled it wrong) Kayley didn't join us. She was at her friend's Dad's house working his haunted house. I think she really loved scaring people. We had a great time!

Pumpkin Patch

After visiting Mom at the Hospital I took the kids over to Irvine Park to check out their pumpkin patch and to let them ride the train. (not that Kayley was dying to ride the train) They had a lot of fun and I got a couple of really cute pictures. And yes Jacob is sporting a mohawk in the picture. His Uncle Todd did it for him for football. It was shaved off a couple weeks ago.

I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been awhile. I swore I'd never go this long without blogging. It's funny how life throws you a curve ball and that all goes out the window. I'm contemplating all kinds of things now. I may go back to school and hopefully if it goes well hit the workforce in a couple years. More on this later. Watch the blog because i'll be post updates on the kids, Halloween, etc.
